Description
Crimson Globe is a reliable, high yielding variety suited for both warm and cool season production. Roots are excellent quality, smooth skinned, uniform round to flat-round shaped with a slender, attractive taproot. Flesh is a deep dark red, very tender crisp and sweet, ideal for baking, pickling, or grating raw into salads. Crimson Globe is an improved version of the very popular Detroit Dark Red beetroot and has intermediate resistance to Leaf spot and Downy mildew. 60–70 days (warm season) or 90–110 days (cool season).
