Early to mid-season variety. Compact plants bear 15cm, teardrop shape, ivory fruit with snow-white flesh which, if harvested young, does not need peeling.
Casper has a mild mushroom-like flavour that is delicious when added into soups, stews and roasts and it takes complex and exotic seasonings especially well.
A prolific producer and an excellent variety for specialty growers and gardeners. The Casper eggplant heirloom variety originated in France. 75 days.
