Description
(Spinacia oleracea) An excellent early, all round variety with extremely large heavy, deep green, oval and smooth leaves. The mature plant leaves have a fantastic, sweet flavour and the perfect texture for cooked dishes, such as risotto. The quick growing, succulent, oval-leafed new growth also makes it ideal for baby-leaf production. It's a cold-hardy plant, but can also tolerate warmer temperatures during the growing season. Slow-to-bolt, very productive plants. 28 days baby, 48 days full.
