Long Purple Eggplant is a good reliable producer with purple fruit to about 20cm. Has a classic rich taste and is grown all over Italy. Start transplants about 10 weeks before set out date or direct sow but eggplant seed needs warmth to germinate. Space seedlings at 40cm. 80 days to maturity.
