Also known as “Galactic”. Reputed to be absolutely the darkest red lettuce in existence. A stunning, open headed, upright standing, leaf lettuce with wavy to frilly leaf margins and very crisp, waxy leaves! Makes an ideal salad lettuce at every stage. Very high in antioxidants and bitter-free. Recommended as a cutting type for baby greens production or cut-and-come-again harvesting. Excellent bolt resistance in both hot and cold conditions. 55 days.
