Wild Cherry Tomato

Description

Genetically linked to wild Mexican tomatoes from the state of Hidago. One of our favorite tomatoes. If you don't have a "green thumb" or have never gardened before, this is the tomato for you to try. Will grow anywhere there is sun.

Produces a tall, vigorous, rangy, indeterminate, regular-leaf tomato plant with thousands of small (about the size of a small marble) red cherry tomatoes, borne in clusters. Fruits have a very sweet, delicious taste. Like snacking on candy (a high sugar content, 11 Brix on the sweetness scale). This tomato variety should also do well in cooler growing regions as it appears to have some frost resistance. Great for sprinkling these "jewels" into a salad. An early maturing variety - about 60 days from transplant.
