An old Italian heirloom. Remarkably decorative curly green leaves with frilly outer edges that vary from dark-red to purple. Mild, delicious taste, with a hint of sweetness and a wonderful texture. Small 12-20cm leaves. Excellent for cut-and-come-again lettuce when thickly sown. The leaves make a wonderful garnish. Looseleaf, 55 days.
