Description
A pre-1840 Italian heirloom beet named for a small fishing village near Venice. These beets have a light red skin and beautiful rings inside, like red and white candy stripes - also known as the Bull’s Eye Beet. The flesh is very tender, mild and sweet. The colouration can be best maintained by roasting or cooking the beets whole and slicing just prior to serving. 55-65 days.
